Through Asana, I found My Calling In Life.
When I was younger, I was never very good at sports, I was that kid in the movies that was always chosen last for all the teams. I didn’t have much confidence when exercising because I was always bendy, but never strong. When I finally found my way to yoga, I found that it was very accessible for me. There were tonnes of things I couldn’t do properly, my alignment was less than optimal, but I never once felt judged. I knew that I wanted to be a part of this world, I wanted to help people get in shape and feel confident. I continued going to classes on a daily basis. After a year of attending classes, I took my first teacher training. It was life changing in the best way possible. I found that it was yet again a very accessible lifestyle, I could start teaching classes part time while I earned and saved money at my full time job. The deeper I went into my practice, the more I realized that my full time job did not align with my goals, hopes, and dreams. So I made the transition and am now living my life’s calling. I love my job, and I feel that everyone should love their job in this way!
